Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Plus One Recruitment. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing monthly payrolls for all clients, ensuring deadlines are met and all payroll actions comply with legislation and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process monthly payrolls for all clients, efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure all payroll actions comply with legislation and contractual obligations.
  • Support clients with any payroll reporting.
  • Respond to and support clients with any payroll queries.
  • Work with the HMRC, submitting P11d and PSAs and calculating benefits.
  • Liaise with HMRC on any PAYE-related issues.
  • Set up new PAYE schemes and deal with payroll transitions.
  • Set up pension schemes and manage Auto-enrolment queries.
  • Complete manual payroll calculations as and when required.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject.
  • Experience in a bureau or accountancy firm with knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing and Auto-enrolment administration.
  • Strong numeracy and communication skills.
  • Able to work with numerous clients.
Benefits:
  • Flexible working hours (Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm, 30 hours per week).
  • Salary: £31,250 FTE, £25,000+ DOE.
