Mental Health Clinician

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Services Coordinator to join our team at Berry Street, working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide therapeutic intervention services for infants, children and young people who have suffered trauma, neglect and disrupted attachment.
The successful candidate will facilitate recovery, empower participants to make positive choices, and contribute to building a robust evidence base for effective support strategies. You will work collaboratively with other professionals, including teachers, social workers and healthcare providers, to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting young people and their families.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop treatment plans that meet the needs of young people and their families.
- Facilitate group and individual sessions with young people and their families to promote healing and recovery.
- Work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and community.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree level or higher qualification in a Health or Welfare related field such as Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Family Therapy, Speech Pathology, Art Therapy or related discipline.
- Solid understanding of trauma and its impacts on attachment and developmental milestones for young people.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.
