About the Job

We are seeking a talented Regional Estate Manager to join our Estates Team in the North East of England. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting our lifesaving service by managing the safe, efficient, and effective maintenance of buildings and infrastructure along the coastline.

The ideal candidate will have extensive practical experience of managing building maintenance & construction works at a professional level, ideally in a maritime environment. You will also possess commercial and financial acumen, excellent IT and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively at both strategic and operational levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage operational portfolios of buildings and infrastructure along the coastline
  • Accurately assess condition, specify, and procure planned and emergency works
  • Monitor contractor performance against safety, quality, and cost criteria

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education to HNC level or equivalent in Building Construction or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Membership of a professional body such as CIOB, RICS or ICE
  • Commercial and financial acumen, excellent IT and communication skills

Salary: £43,000 - £52,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
