About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our dynamic Paediatric Assessment Unit team at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care without direct supervision, participating in the supervision and teaching of untrained staff.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the ward or department, promoting effective communication and relationships between staff, patients, relatives, and visitors.
Person Specification
  • Essential Qualifications:
    • NMC registration as a nurse.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
    • Teaching and assessing qualification.
  • Essential Experience:
    • Newly registered nurses with experience within an acute care setting (as a nursing student or within the first year as a new entrant to the profession).
    • Registered nurses with over one year of experience within an acute care setting.
    • Standard keyboard skills and knowledge of various IT packages, such as Word, PAS, and E-rostering.
  • Desirable Experience:
    • EPLS.
    • Cannulation and venipuncture.
    • Manchester triage training.
