Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and young people with various medical and surgical conditions. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to children and young people, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
- Participate in the supervision and teaching of untrained staff, promoting a culture of learning and development within the team.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and supportive environment, promoting good communication and relationships between staff, patients, relatives, and visitors.
- Registered General Nurse with a valid nursing registration.
- Experience working in an acute care setting, preferably in a Paediatric Assessment Unit.
- Standard keyboard skills and knowledge of IT packages such as Word, PAS, and E-rostering.
- Manchester triage training.
