Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has become available for a band 6 nurse to join our evolving Emergency Department Team.

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is one of the largest acute and community trusts in the West Midlands.

We have been rated as GOOD during our recent CQC inspection.

This band 6 role provides a real opportunity to develop leadership skills, clinical skills, and knowledge base within the Emergency Services Directorate.

Main Duties of the Job

The Emergency Department is exceptionally busy and currently has circa 153,000 annual attendees.

An understanding of the importance of maintaining patient flows through the hospital is pivotal to this role.

We are looking for nurses who are pursuing a new challenge who hold experience in either an Emergency Department or significant acute medical experience.

The individual we want would be committed to sustaining and improving our patient pathways, good clinical skills, and be able to act as a professional role model supported by the National Curriculum and Competency Framework for Emergency Nursing.
