Assistant Ward Leader - CAMHS and Eating Disorders

We are pleased to present a remarkable opportunity for a qualified registered nurse - RMN or RNLD (Mental Health Nurse and/or Learning Disability Nurse) to join a newly established Eating Disorders and CAMHS facility as an Assistant Ward Leader.

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess relevant experience in similar environments (such as PICU, CAMHS, or Eating Disorders).

Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience.

Working Hours: Full Time, 40 HOURS PER WEEK.

Shift Patterns: Consideration for days only or nights only shifts, although ideally, as a senior team member, you will adapt to the service's requirements.

This specialized service caters to adolescents aged 13-18 years whose needs cannot be adequately addressed within community settings.

You will be part of a state-of-the-art 15-bed CAMHS Eating Disorders facility.

The Hospital Manager brings extensive experience, having previously overseen a successful TIER 4 Eating Disorders intensive care unit, achieving commendable CQC ratings and outstanding Ofsted results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the ward manager in the daily operational management of the clinical service.
  • Collaborate closely with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Embrace leadership responsibilities while enhancing your clinical leadership skills.
  • Maintain hands-on nursing competencies.
