Planning Officer

Work with our Development Management team to deliver sustainable development within the district. Process a wide range of planning applications, prepare statements for planning appeals, and present evidence at hearings and inquiries. Key Responsibilities:
- Processing planning applications
- Preparing statements for planning appeals
- Presenting evidence at hearings and inquiries
Requirements:
- Degree in planning or related environmental subject
- Full Membership of the RTPI
- Experience of working in a planning environment
- Good knowledge of the planning system
- Good communication and negotiation skills
