Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Bank Reconciliation Manager to join our team at Group Shared Services Ltd. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for governing the end-to-end bank reconciliation process for your designated region within the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration of bank reconciliations for assigned regions within the Group.
  • Support end-to-end process improvement by collaborating with other teams to ensure processes are effective and efficient.
  • Provide support to the Head of Bank Reconciliation in maintaining a robust and industry-leading reconciliation and control environment.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and remediation work is applied where necessary.
  • Support internal, external, and client audits by maintaining robust audit trails and evidence.
  • Monitor and report KPIs and SLAs, creating monthly dashboards and providing management information as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience of managing a team in a high-volume processing environment is essential.
  • Qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
  • Ability to interrogate and analyze large data sets.
  • Identify risks and adopt a 'no surprise' approach to ensure issues are highlighted and escalated in a timely manner.
  • Improvement mindset and proactive attitude.
  • Previous reconciliation experience is essential.
  • Previous Oracle/ERP experience is desirable.
