Bank Reconciliation Specialist

Job Title: Bank Reconciliation Analyst
This is an exciting opportunity to join Ardonagh Advisory's growing Client Money Team. As a Bank Reconciliation Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate reconciliation of client bank accounts and maintaining exceptional customer service and CASS compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile client bank accounts to their broking systems in accordance with FCA CASS regulations and Client Money Service level agreements.
- Reconcile Insurer Accounts for allocated members in accordance with the member's supplementary agreement and to the insurer's credit terms.
- Action and resolve queries effectively that may arise from Insurer payments, insurer reconciliations or the cashbook reconciliations in accordance with customer and internal SLAs.
- Capture all instances of breaches of FCA CASS rules and Broker Network procedures within the internal audit document and awareness of any unusual activity.
- Detailed understanding of Ardonagh procedures and the relevant CASS 5 rules.
- Identification and prevention, where possible, of CASS breaches.
- Interpret / input data from daily, weekly and monthly reports.
- Other administrative duties as assigned i.e. Second Signatures Cheques, Client refunds, Bank Account Administration, scanning, indexing and filing.
Requirements:
- FCA regulated environment experience, preferably insurer or broker.
- Accounts background with a detailed orientated, organised, proactive individual with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively by all mediums, both internally and externally.
- Competent using Excel and Outlook and able to learn new systems quickly.
- Customer focused individual who thrives on providing an exceptional service to customers by working on their own and as part of a team.
