Job Summary

Senior Bank Reconciliation Manager

Group Shared Services Ltd is seeking a Senior Bank Reconciliation Manager to lead the Bank Reconciliation Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing bank reconciliations, liaising with other teams, and ensuring end-to-end bank processes are appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own granular client-level bank reconciliations to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Drive process improvement by working with External Reporting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Record to Report teams.
  • Develop a shared service strategy and target operating model for the Bank Reconciliation Team.
  • Provide a robust reconciliation and control environment, ensuring timely follow-up and remediation work.
  • Support internal, external, and client audits, maintaining robust audit trails and evidence.
  • Ensure policies are written, owned, and updated to maintain strong reconciliation disciplines.
  • Own a transformational agenda to optimize processes and deliver best-in-class performance.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience managing large teams in a high-volume processing environment.
  • Working knowledge of accounting double-entry and reconciliation processes.
  • Working knowledge of reconciliation software/platforms desirable.
  • Technical understanding of cash management financial systems, with Oracle cash systems experience desirable.
  • Financial Services experience, with debt management knowledge desirable.
