Research Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our Research organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the planning and execution of complex projects, ensuring successful delivery of our portfolio of projects in close partnership with Research Project Leaders.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully driving the execution of complex projects, with experience in project management within the biopharmaceutical industry. You will be responsible for managing complex projects, including planning, timelines, budget oversight, and proactive identification and assessment of challenges and risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Develop and prioritize key program objectives, go/no-go decisions, and data review based on key milestones.
  • Leadership: Serve as the Lead Project Manager for Research, fostering collaboration, high performance, and a results-orientated mindset.
  • Cultural Fit: Promote innovative approaches to problem solving, communicate ideas persuasively, decisively confront and resolve issues, and work constructively under pressure.

Qualifications:

  • Educated in life sciences, engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in project management within the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of the drug discovery and development process (preferably oncology) from early discovery phase to IND filing.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving the execution of complex projects.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience implementing tools and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
