About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Assistant to join our team at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute. As a Research Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our research team in understanding the complex multicellular ecosystems that drive breast cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to cutting-edge translational research designed to unravel the complex multicellular ecosystems that drive breast cancer.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms to analyze large datasets.
  • Work closely with the research team to design and execute experiments, and to analyze and interpret data.
  • Collaborate with other researchers and clinicians to identify and prioritize research projects.
  • Contribute to the writing of research papers and presentations.
Requirements
  • MSc degree in computational biology or equivalent.
  • Strong background in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Previous experience in cancer research and immunology is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
