**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our iconic events venue.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Assist in overseeing the day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting & forecasting
* Maintain financial records and implement financial controls
* Work closely with the Director of Finance to produce the hotel annual budget and bi-weekly forecast
* Provide support to the Venue Manager in financial matters

**Requirements**

* Experience in a financial role involving purchase ledger, preferably within the hospitality/events industry
* Knowledge and understanding of payroll/productivity for the events industry, and of wet and dry stocks
* Proficiency in using financial management software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem solving
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and develop junior members of the team
* An AAT level 4 qualification or similar
