**About the role**

Reporting to the Head of Project Management, the Project Co-ordinator will be responsible for the scheduling and coordination of IT project work for one of our biggest customer. You will work alongside experienced senior Project Managers and technical consultants ensuring that project work is delivered on time, to budget, and within agreed project parameters.

**Responsibilities**:
Project scheduling and co-ordination
- Project commencement: ensure new projects are setup with the correct governance and supporting documentation to enable project initiation
- Support and assist Project Managers in the delivery of projects, including:

- Project planning and phasing
- Resource alignment and scheduling
- Procurement
- Client engagement
- Highlight reports
- Ensure project actions are followed up on in timely manner

Reporting:

- Generate monthly reports to demonstrate status on:

- Resource allocation and requirements
- Commercial forecasts and actuals
- Project RAG
- Compilation of data to facilitate analysis of completed projects

Timesheet management:

- Review and ensure accurate time recording by all project resources.
- Work with engineering staff to ensure that all type of absence is recorded

**Qualification, experience and skills**

Must have
- Experience of working in an IT project delivery role, with exposure to modern working technologies (e.g. Azure, M365, O365, InTune, Exchange & Sharepoint etc), Networking and infrastructure
- Experience of coordinating engineering resources
- A sound understanding of project processes
- Experience of working in multiple workstreams concurrently (e.g. ensuring projects are allocated, project RAG reports are created, project changes are processed, and new projects are resourced)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to get buy-in and effectively co-ordinate others to complete tasks

- Good commercial awareness (cost associated with project overruns / resource / change control / internal projects)
- Experience of preparing reports that support project delivery
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and able to analyse data for reporting and order management purposes
