This is a brilliant opportunity for a sales driven individual who enjoys being out on the road and generating a sales pipeline from scratch. You'll be working with a small, yet ambitious business with an excellent reputation locally. Your typical region will be North of the Thames, along the M25 boundary and across to the M40 Oxford boundary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Researching opportunities, networking and generating prospects across different sectors
- Working to an annual target in year 1
- Building strong relationships with your clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions by highlighting your services and products
- Working cross functionally with colleagues
- Writing and delivering sales presentations to prospective clients
- Negotiating contracts and closing deals
- Account management
- Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and competitors to identify potential growth areas
- Using the CRM to track leads accurately and customer interactions
- Attending networking events and building a local reputation
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development within the office furniture/office fit out market
- Excellent communication skills
- Negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full driving license and flexible to travel weekly
