We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Absolute Taste. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing menus for events and functions
* Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
* Manage and motivate a team of culinary staff
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts
* Ensure seamless execution of events and functions
* Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies, and labor costs
* Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity in the kitchen

Requirements

* 3+ years of experience in a senior culinary role
* Proven track record of success in menu planning, food preparation, and team management
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
* Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
