About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Executive Chef to join our team at Absolute Taste, a leading international events company. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the kitchen team and ensure effective communication and collaboration with all staff members.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to meet the evolving tastes and preferences of our clients.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared, produced, and packed to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Culinary Operations to develop and implement new kitchen procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses to ensure that they are within budget.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a senior chef in a high-end fine dining restaurant or events company.
  • Proven track record of leading a kitchen team and achieving high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
