We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven professional to join our forward-thinking Research and Innovation team. As a Business Development Executive, you will lead industry engagement, commercial growth, and strategic partnerships in key sectors such as Health & Life Sciences, Energy, and Creative & Digital Industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong partnerships with industry leaders
  • Create collaborations between the University and key stakeholders
  • Lead on commercial initiatives to expand contract research, consultancy, and strategic partnerships
  • Support the university strategic plan Aberdeen 2040
  • Position the university as a leader in enterprise and innovation

Requirements:

  • Good first degree in a relevant subject
  • Strong commercial and technical expertise
  • Proven track record of achieving business development or sales targets
  • Experience in R&D or innovation-driven settings
  • Knowledge of one of the key sectors (Health & Life Sciences, Energy, or Creative & Digital Industries)
