Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing support to individuals with learning disabilities. Key duties will include:

  • Routine testing (e.g., dementia and psychometric)
  • Therapy
  • Behavioral analysis and intervention
  • Management of referrals
  • Telephone follow-ups
  • Assisting with clinical audits


Apart from the specified duties, the post holder will be expected to participate in training and educational programs to enhance their knowledge and skills. They will also be required to maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in Psychology, preferably with a 2.1 honors degree or higher. A car that can be used for work is essential due to the nature of the role. Previous experience in Learning Disability Services and familiarity with psychometric testing (e.g., WAIS IV) is highly desirable.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £40,000-£50,000 based on a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
