We are seeking a skilled and experienced Port Crane Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team at Human Engineering Ltd.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in servicing and maintaining RTG's, STS, mobile harbour, and RMG cranes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on port cranes to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
  • Performing upgrades, modifications, and installations as required to enhance crane performance and functionality.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate service activities and minimize downtime.
  • Providing technical support and training to customers and onsite personnel to optimize crane operation and maintenance practices.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic Engineering discipline.
  2. Proven experience working with port cranes.
  3. Strong knowledge of crane systems, including mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic components.
  4. Industry certifications or tickets related to crane maintenance and operation (e.g., CPCS, NPORS, IPAF).
  5. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
