Mobile Maintenance Engineer for CBRE

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions.
Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work as part of our maintenance team, performing routine and preventative maintenance on various equipment and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plant, equipment, and building services, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Identify and manage risks associated with equipment, updating drawings and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
- Provide technical expertise to the maintenance department, working on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes.
- Conduct risk assessments, write method statements, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Liaise with site services to manage building-related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required.
- Supervise contractors and ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with qualifications equivalent to City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 or higher.
- Experience in mobile device use, with proficiency in using CAFM maintenance systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- The ability to work overtime, including nights and weekends, as required by the business.
- NVQ qualifications to level 2 in electrical and mechanical fields, plus PLC diagnostics and repair competencies.
