Heavy Machinery Servicing Technician

Human Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced Heavy Machinery Servicing Technician to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our fleet of heavy machinery, including port cranes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out routine maintenance tasks on heavy machinery, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
- Identifying and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues, and implementing timely and effective solutions.
- Performing upgrades, modifications, and installations as required to enhance machine performance and functionality.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate service activities and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
- A minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic Engineering discipline.
- Proven experience working with heavy machinery, preferably within the port crane industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic components.
- Industry certifications or tickets related to crane maintenance and operation (e.g., CPCS, NPORS, IPAF).
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
