Senior Youth Work Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Youth Work Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Central Bedfordshire. As a key member of our Youth Impact domain, you will play a pivotal role in the mobilisation of our service and ensuring high-quality youth work that meets the needs of young people in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of youth workers, sessional staff, and volunteers to deliver high-quality youth work programmes.
  • Develop and implement innovative practice across Central Bedfordshire, working closely with stakeholders and community partners.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of the service, ensuring that we are meeting the needs of young people.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with young people, stakeholders, and community partners to ensure effective service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within youth work or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver high-quality youth work programmes, working closely with young people.
  • Competence to monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of the service.
  • Commitment to the values and mission of youth work, as well as safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
