Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Reablement Support Worker to join our Support at Home team in Carlisle. As a Reablement Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals regain their independence after hospital stays and maintaining their quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, and mobility">
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement tailored reablement plans">
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and adapt support plans accordingly">
  • Maintain accurate records of service user interactions and outcomes">

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
  • Able to work flexibly, including weekends and Bank Holidays">
  • No prior experience or qualifications necessary, as full paid training and development will be provided">

Benefits and Compensation

Cumberland Council offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.80, with an additional market supplement of £0.50 per hour. You will also receive fully paid training and development opportunities, as well as the chance to make a meaningful contribution to people's lives.
