Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker - Night Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Polaris Community. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people during night shifts
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of each child, including responding to emergencies and following procedures
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and colleagues
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and young people in a residential setting
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
