Position: Waking Night Residential Support Worker (Bank Staff)


Children Assisted in a Real Environment Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Waking Night Residential Support Worker on a bank staff basis. This role is crucial in our residential care home dedicated to children and young individuals facing Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Difficulties (LD).


Shift Details:

Your shift will commence at 10 PM and conclude at 9 AM. Attendance at team meetings and training sessions is mandatory and will be compensated at a different rate.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the young residents throughout the night.
  • Assist in settling young individuals into their beds.
  • Conduct regular checks on the residents and meticulously document your observations.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance duties as required.
  • Engage in team meetings and pursue continuous professional development through training opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care for children and young people (previously NVQ Level 3) or actively working towards it.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience in a residential setting working with EBD.
  • Willingness to work night shifts as part of the duty rota.
