Join Our Team as a Waking Night Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at The Lighthouse Children's Home in Raynes Park, SW London. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children with autism and learning disabilities.

About the Role

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, interests, health, and wellbeing. You will work closely with our team to ensure the safety, welfare, and protection of our children and young people at all times.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Relevant experience working in a supportive role
  • Willing to undertake personal care
  • Confident working with challenging behaviour
  • A genuine interest in childcare
Desirable Qualifications
  • Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma
  • Experience in specialist care for people with autism, learning disabilities, or complex backgrounds
  • Familiar with waking night duties

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £12.85 - £13.40 per hour, with potential overtime. We also offer a range of benefits, including flexible hours, annual leave, and access to free counselling support.
