Purchasing Administrator Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Allocate stock to sales and works orders.
  • Monitor component orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Regularly communicate with sales teams regarding availability against demand.
  • Control daily cycle counts.
  • Assess and monitor supplier acknowledgement performance.
  • Progress and monitor purchase orders.
  • Maintain operating system information on an ongoing basis.
  • Control customer returns.
  • Drive warehouse KPIs.
  • Arrange logistics of shipments monitoring performance.
  • Evaluate service on outbound freight.

This is a dynamic role that requires a strategic thinker who can act on initiative, being confident in tackling problems and having excellent time management and organisational skills.
