Purchasing Administrator Role Overview: Flowtech is seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Administrator to join our team in Dungannon, Co. Tyrone. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing processes.

We are looking for an individual with strong IT skills, including at least intermediate level proficiency in Excel and MS Office. Experience with operating systems, preferably Sage Line 200, and knowledge of B.O.M / Works Order would be beneficial. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and enhance your position within the company.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who can act on initiative, confident in tackling problems, and possess excellent time management and organisational skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential in establishing effective relationships with the sales team and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Allocating stock to sales and works orders.
  • Monitoring component orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Communicating regularly with the sales team regarding availability against demand.
  • Controlling daily cycle counts.
  • Assessing and monitoring supplier acknowledgement performance.
  • Progressing and monitoring purchase orders.
  • Maintaining operating system information on an ongoing basis.
  • Controlling customer returns.
  • Driving warehouse KPIs.
  • Arranging logistics of shipments and monitoring performance.
  • Ensuring service on outbound freight.

Requirements:
  • Strong IT skills, including at least intermediate level proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
  • Experience with operating systems, preferably Sage Line 200, and knowledge of B.O.M / Works Order.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to act on initiative.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
