The key role of a Cover Supervisor is to cover lessons and supervise pupils carrying out prepared exercises when teaching staff are absent. Cover supervisors manage the classroom to ensure pupils remain on task with the work set.

We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications, experience, and attributes:

  • A very high standard of communication skills, accurate use of spelling and grammar
  • Recent experience of working in Secondary schools
  • Experience in Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, or Key Stage 5
  • Commitment to professional development and a keenness to learn
  • A passion for working with children
  • Commitment to Safeguarding
