Special Needs Education Assistant

About the Role:
Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Education Assistant to join our team. As a Special Needs Education Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting and nurturing students with autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to students, helping them to develop their social skills, independence, and self-esteem.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to students during class activities
Assist with behavior management and lunch duty
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists
Requirements:
A genuine passion for working with children with additional learning needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
