**Job Overview**

NHS Suffolk and North-East Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the ICB to deliver its leadership role in emergency response and ensure that all NHS hospitals, community services, primary care, and mental health organizations can provide coordinated and effective responses to emergencies and incidents.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree or equivalent experience, specialist knowledge in a relevant subject to postgraduate level, and previous experience in a similar role in the public sector. They will also possess excellent communication skills, be able to analyze complex issues, and have the ability to work independently with good judgment, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support the development of EPRR systems, processes, and activities to ensure they are fit for purpose.
  • Provide policy and problem-solving input and expertise into the development of key EPRR policies.
  • Maintain close links and communication with EPRR leads from regional teams and provider networks on key areas such as planning, response, and statutory requirements.

**Requirements**

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
