About the Role


We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Community Stroke and Neuro Therapy team in North East Lincolnshire. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to our therapy staff in delivering high-quality patient care.


Main Responsibilities



  • Assist therapy staff with patient treatments, following specific treatment plans and providing necessary equipment
  • Conduct clerical and administrative duties, supporting the therapy team with data collection, equipment ordering, and home visits
  • Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and carers, providing emotional support and guidance
  • Collaborate with the therapy team to maintain accurate records, reports, and statistics

Requirements



  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Competent IT skills, with experience using electronic patient records and other relevant software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks
  • Access to transport, with a valid driving license and ability to safely transport patients and equipment
