Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Team Leader to join our Despatch team at Greenvale AP. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient running of the Despatch and Palletiser areas.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Despatch team to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and implement effective processes and procedures to improve the accuracy and timeliness of order fulfillment.
- Conduct regular spot checks to ensure compliance with site rules and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain a culture of safety awareness and compliance within the Despatch team.
- Ensure all orders for delivery/collection are executed correctly and on time.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure the Despatch team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Key Attributes:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to make decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivation and ability to motivate others.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Valid ITSARR, AITT or RTITB Forklift license.
