The Role:
You will lead a team of direct reports in the warehouse, providing day-to-day support and establishing yourself as a key player in the Operational Management team. Your responsibilities will include planning, delegating, and monitoring workload across all warehouse functions to meet operational service levels for a range of customers in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and support to direct reports in the warehouse.
- Establish and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Plan, delegate, and monitor workload across all warehouse functions.
- Meet operational service levels for a range of customers.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Manage and support team members, including training, development, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience with using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-sufficiency, ability to work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
- Good time-keeping, highly organized, and adaptable to change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of relevant health and safety practices.
- Excellent numerical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Competency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
