Warehouse and Inventory Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse and Inventory Specialist to join our clients growing team based in the UK.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, including materials handling, picking and packing orders, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse processes.
This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.
- Perform picking and packing of orders accurately to ensure timely dispatch.
- Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment.
- Assist in building and stocking shelves with products as required.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy in stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and enhance productivity.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is essential.
- Proficient in operating forklifts; with a valid certificate.
- Strong skills in communication and teamwork.
