The Role
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Supervisor to provide leadership and support to a team of direct reports in the warehouse. The successful candidate will establish themselves as a key player in the Operational Management team, planning, delegating, and monitoring workload across all warehouse functions to meet operational service levels. Strong leadership skills are required to drive positive changes in company culture, team performance, and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and support to a team of direct reports in the warehouse
- Plan, delegate, and monitor workload across all warehouse functions
- Establish and maintain a safe and efficient working environment
- Drive positive changes in company culture, team performance, and operational processes
- Manage and support short or long-term absences from the team
- Manage conduct and performance issues from the team
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Warehouse environment
- Experience with using WMS systems
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-sufficiency, ability to work on own initiative, and to tight deadlines
- Good time keeping, highly organized, and adaptable to change
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solid understanding of relevant Health & Safety practices
- Excellent numerical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Competence with Microsoft Excel and Word
