About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at Pennine Care NHS FT. As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will play a key role in the management of Ramsbottom Ward, a 10-bed unit caring for older female people with organic illnesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Supervise and support junior members of staff
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • First-level registration as an RMN/RNMH
  • Experience of working in older people's acute mental health settings
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
