Spinwell is recruiting for a Network Infrastructure Specialist to work in the public sector.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the telephony network and pager systems, as well as all CAB rooms and the Addenbrookes Data Centre Environment.

This role requires strong technical skills and knowledge of telephony systems, including configuration, provisioning, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • SUPPORT OF TELEPHONY NETWORK AND PAGER SYSTEMS
  • SUPPORT IT FOR CAPITAL, ESTATES AND FACILITIES
  • CONTACT CENTRE HANDLING INBOUND AND OUTBOUND FOR THE HOSPITAL
  • PROJECTS
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
  • Configure telephony systems, including IVRs and queueing functions.
  • Provision telephony where required, including jumpering and re-routing of cabling between wiring centres.
  • Troubleshoot faults within telephony/paging services and the supporting hardware, including VoIP and Analogue.
  • Support the CAB room and Data Centre Environments, including monitoring via Jacarta.
  • Customer advice and support, including ISTM knowledge or a comparable problem/incident management system.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Candidate must have the ability to show empathy and understanding to end users.
  • Liaise confidently & professionally with internal and external 3rd parties.
  • Undertake 1st, 2nd and 3rd line system, software and hardware support enquires.
  • Provide quality, customer focussed support to the Infrastructure service desk at all times.
Estimated Salary: £37,338 - £44,962 per annum
