A highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer is sought by Austin Fraser to lead electrical systems development on large-scale infrastructure and energy projects. This exciting opportunity involves leading the selection and development of electrical systems and control/distribution schemes to provide the best available technical solutions and examine commercial viability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement electrical system designs, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with project management consultancy teams to deliver high-quality electrical engineering services.
  • Supervise electrical engineers and designers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Produce design project deliverables within budget and deadlines.
  • Support bid development and estimate production for the Proposals team.

For this role, you will need several years of experience as an electrical engineer in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries, along with a strong knowledge of electrical engineering aspects across various project phases.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and experience working with electrical design software packages such as PTW, Trimble, DIALux, and StrikeRisk.

A degree in Electrical Engineering and Chartered Engineer status are strong advantages, as is previous experience working on projects as a Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer.
