Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead organisational change, transformation, and culture change, including the modernisation of HR and its approach to achieve longer-term success, aligned to the corporate strategy.
  • Oversee the approach to the performance management cycle, talent development, annual compensation reviews, transfers, promotions, improvement activities, personal development planning, talent reviews, succession planning, and engagement.
  • Drive the people agenda with the support of the local HR team and coach senior leaders and managers to develop business leaders as role models and coaches.
  • Strengthen and build inclusive leadership.
  • Work with the SLT to look at organisation structures and make recommendations, considering risks.
  • Consider key and future talent and understand critical roles.
  • Create a compelling vision, engaging leaders and the workforce.

Requirements:

We are looking for a proven Senior HR Leader with sound experience in change and transformation within a highly complex business. You will have strong generalist HR experience and solid business acumen, having led a business through significant change and transformation while overseeing a large site or multiple sites.

The ability to challenge and influence the SLT and management team is key to both people and business-related matters, coupled with resilience and flexibility to adapt different approaches and build sound relationships with a variety of people.

This role offers significant autonomy and the chance to build and own the future success of HR, along with opportunities for progression.

You will have worked within a fast-paced environment in manufacturing, engineering, logistics, or similar (industrial), and experience with unions is a MUST.

What We Offer:

Up to £110,000 per annum (dependent on experience) plus car allowance and bonus.

Please Note:

This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite, Edinburgh) but may initially require more onsite presence.
