About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing care and support to a young adult with complex medical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with all aspects of personal and self-care, including medication management and mobility support.
Act as a communication partner, using an e-tran spelling board to facilitate effective communication.
Support the individual in their daily activities, including household chores and social events.
Requirements:
Experience working with young people with additional needs is desirable.
Full training will be provided.
Enhanced DBS check required.
Working Hours:
24 hours per week, working a mix of days, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Pay Rates:
Weekdays: £22.94 per hour
Saturdays: £22.94 per hour
Sundays: £25.05 per hour
Weekday nights: £25.02 per hour
Saturday nights: £25.02 per hour
Sunday nights: £27.04 per hour
Bank Holidays: £25.02 per hour
Bank Holiday nights: £27.04 per hour
Driving Requirements:
Full driving licence and ability to drive the client's large vehicle.
Application Process:
Applicants must have a full driving licence and be able to drive the client's vehicle.
Enhanced DBS check required.
