About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling individuals with mental health needs to improve their quality of life and become an integral part of their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of quality in service provision by meeting quality expectations and agreed performance criteria.
  • Participate in the induction of new colleagues and contribute to the continuous improvement of the service.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for self and colleagues by ensuring good housekeeping standards and completing risk assessments as necessary.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures, including accident reporting.
  • Support individuals with their personal care needs, including skin care, bathing, and shaving, as well as housekeeping duties and cooking.
  • Promote independent living through personal choice, advocacy, and support.
  • Deliver a high-quality, person-centered service that meets the needs of service users.

  • Ability to work in a person-centered way to meet the needs of service users.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the continuous improvement of the service.
  • Compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
