About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Independent Sales and Business Development Manager to lead our Independents customer channel and manage a team of field-based Account Managers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets, and experience within an OOH environment in an account management capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head of Wholesale to create and implement a sales strategy for the Independents Channel.
  • People management of a team of Account Managers, ensuring they are supported and motivated to hit their personal targets and agreed customer plans.
  • Be a point of escalation within the channel, oversee the commercial terms and business relationships with core accounts across the independent channel.
  • Responsible for the overall financials of the Independent ledger, seeking to maintain and improve margin where possible.
  • Act as an ambassador for Union, championing and representing their values in the trade.

About You

  • Previous man management and mentorship experience.
  • Proven track record of sales, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Likeminded individuals who want to share their love of coffee with the world.

  • Adaptable, experienced self-starters with drive and commitment.
