**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled School Clerk to provide administrative support to school governing boards in Leeds. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, flexible, and able to work independently.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a professional clerking service to school governing boards, including preparing minutes, advising on procedural matters, and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to school governing boards, including preparing minutes, agendas, and reports
- Advise on procedural matters, including governance policies and statutory responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of governing body memberships and terms of office
- Work collaboratively with senior officers and other stakeholders to ensure effective governance
- Use databases, spreadsheets, and templates to maintain records and produce reports
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have a strong understanding of governance policies and procedures.
