Job Title: School Governance Clerk

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a School Governance Clerk. This role will provide administrative support to our school governing boards, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to effectively govern their schools.

**Responsibilities:**
* Provide clerking services to school governing boards, including taking minutes and preparing agendas
* Maintain accurate records of governing body memberships and terms of office
* Pre-empt vacancies and support governors with recruitment
* Ensure that the governing body complies with regulations regarding appointments and resignations
* Provide advice and guidance to governors on statutory policies and responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with governors, staff, and other stakeholders

**Requirements:**
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of governance procedures and regulations

**Salary:** £31,000 - £34,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

**Location:** Home based with requirement to attend meetings in schools
