Academics Seeking SEN Support Assistant in Wokingham
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a SEN Support Assistant. The successful candidate will have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
In this role, you will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to a pupil with ASD and supporting a small group of children with complex needs. Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting students' behavior management in the classroom.
- Aiding students in understanding teacher instructions.
- Working with individual learners 1:1 or in small groups in the Learning Support department.
- Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress.
You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with teachers and other support staff to develop strategies that meet the diverse needs of our students. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and caring professional to make a real difference in the lives of our students.
