Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Support Assistant to join our team at Foundry College.

This role presents a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in Wokingham Borough schools.

As a SEN Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, support staff, and pastoral teams to provide tailored support and promote pupil well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEMH needs, using evidence-based strategies and techniques.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement behaviour plans and strategies for pupil development.
  • Support schools in creating a culture of inclusivity and respect, promoting positive behaviour and academic progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and contribute to regular review meetings.
