As a SEN Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in Wokingham Borough schools.

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and pastoral teams to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver targeted interventions to support pupils with SEMH needs, including one-to-one and group sessions.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement behaviour plans and strategies for pupil development.
  • Contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives to promote positive behaviour and academic progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and participate in regular review meetings.
